“The Painter’s Daughter” Selected for the 2021 Exhibition of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters

“The Painter’s Daughter” is one of two hundred paintings selected for the 2021 exhibition of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters in London.  The show will be open for viewing from Thursday May 6th to Saturday May 15th at Mall Galleries, The Mall, London SW1.  You can also preview the show online:

For as long as I can remember, I have been drawn to the magic of capturing a likeness and for over thirty years I have been inspired to make portraits of family, friends, models and patrons.  For that reason I am especially proud and honored to be included in this exhibition.

My sincere thanks to the Society and the jurors for their recognition, to Emanuela S. for the frame, and to my two greatest supporters, my parents.

Finally, to make a compelling portrait, it helps to have a special sitter… and to her I can only say, “to the moon and back.”
