Timeless Proportions: Drawing the Classical Figure in the Museums of Rome
For those who love drawing the Classical figure, Rome offers a unique experience. Join the American painter Timothy Joseph Allen on a 4-day adventure drawing in several of Rome’s spectacular museums that feature the Classical figure: Palazzo Massimo, Palazzo Altemps, Hendrik Christian Andersen Museum e Centrale Montemartini.
This workshop is intended for beginners and intermediates.
| Theme | An examination of composition, proportion, scale, space and volume of the classical figure in a contemporary setting.Important: this is not a "sketchbook" course. Each day of drawing will focus on the creation of a "finished drawings". |

| Time | This workshop has a total of 16 hours over 4 days (4 hours a day) the first two weekends of June: Saturday the 5th and Sunday the 6th; Saturday the 12th and Sunday the 13th. Each lesson begins at 10:00 and ends at 14:00. |
| Number of Participants | Minimum 6 - maximum 12 ...first come, first serve. |
| Cost | The price of the workshop is €297 including materials and entrance fees to the museums. (Please find a list of the materials below). 10% discount for registration before May 1: €267 instead of €297. |
NB: Those wishing to attend this workshop should plan on attending all four days. It is not possible to sign up for only one of the four, nor is it possible to receive a refund on any day(s) missed.
